Cleaning from an early age

Madam adores the "Woowa" She really gets excited and runs to the cupboard when I suggest I am about too clean shouting "woowa, woowa" Her delight is rather cute when pressing the on button and it fires up. When i'm dusting she has a clean duster and follows me around, cute little mni-me :o)

I've been trying to find an upright hoover for her so she can run about and pretend. The toys these days are fantastic, really assist childhood imagination.  Nona has been provided with a make-believe kitchen, with sounds and lights and madam and her cousin adore it.

Watching them play together is adorable..

Footprint jewellery - beautiful keepsake

I've been wanting to mark my daughter's birth since she's been born, something I could keep/ show the world my love for my little lady. I'd love a new tattoo, unfortunately my fella will not allow this too happen (although I will bypass asking him next time) So, I decided to go for something a little less painful and get a momento I could keep close to me.

I've seen the fingerprint jewellery kicking around for a while and loved the idea, although when I saw hand and footprint imprints I was sold.

I originally contemplated a necklace but opted for a beautiful links of London style bracelet with a charm instead and I have to say, i'm very happy with the outcome.

I got mine from preciouslittleprints.co.uk, there was brilliant communication throughout and fast turnaround too, and best of all.... great value for money

Take a peek... you won't be dissapointed (although your purse may be a little lighter)

A snob in McDonalds....

Yes, I'm talking about me.

Having a jaunt out with my lovely friend we had to have a cheeky McDonalds on a bright sunny day I realised what a snob I truely am.

I couldn't bring myself to give my girl any of their food, it pains me to say that I don't look kindly upon babies having a happy meal in front of them, a few chips are fine ! So, the dilemma was adverted by purchasing roast potatoes and a cumberland sausage from the hot counter at the big supermarket beforehand... oh how I got some dodgy looks !!

I have to say madam wasn't any the wiser and I got to eat my lovely big mac in peace :o)

Getting out in the garden

I've not had a garden before, the previous house we lived in had a concrete yard and there's not much maintenance required. Now we have a garden at the front, back and side !!

Its rather lovely that my madam is an outdoorsy girl, when mentioning going out, she runs to the stairgate and tries to grab her coat with a big smile on her face.

On Mother's day it was lovely sunshine so we all treked out into the front garden to do some weeding and planted some seeds.

Of course she loved nothing more than running around and trying to escape :o)
I didn't get much weeding done, more chasing, but hey... isn't that whats important, a happy child? That's fine by me !
